Making Hard Choices For Our Youths

Yesterday I got an email from the Stockholm City Library inviting me to a Book presentation at the library. I have been to such networking events before at that library and it is usually enriching

But what exactly is wrong with Nigeria?

This is not just bad leadership but wickedness!!

Why can’t our Governors and the Presidency build an ordinary library for our youths?

Sweden has about 290 Local Governments, each of them is equipped with the following

1. The best books in Europe. The ones they dont have on print, they have on E-book for you to borrow or download

2. With just an ID card you can borrow any book you like for 2 weeks

3. Free WiFi for all youths

4. Free computers for you to use

5. Halls for Seminars, workshops and training

6. Many offer free lectures, classes and Language trainings

Etc

Nigeria has about 770 LGAs and none of them has a functional computer or Internet connectivity

Tomorrow you will be wondering why Swedish youths are building start-ups and financially independent whereas Nigerian youths are joining Secret courts ( According to BBC), joining Boko Haram, Joining kidnapping Networks, Joining Unknown Gun Men and smoking Mkpuru-Mmiri.

Actions have consequences!!

Bad leadership is the root and cause of all evil in Nigeria (But your pastors may not tell you that, most of them are more interested in donations from corrupt politicians )

Why in God’s name have Gov Obiano of Anambra, Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, El-rufai of Kaduna State etc and President Buhari not built Libraries?

What greater social intervention is more important than investing on the future of Nigerian youths?

Why are our youths not demanding this?

Why are our youths not asking the right questions?

A.With the free books in library you don’t need to buy books to prepare for WAEC

B.With the Free WiFi in the library you don’t need to buy MTN bundle to study online

C.With the free computers in the library you don’t need to steal or kill someone to buy a laptop

D. With free lectures and classes at the library you don’t need to do Expo or cheat to pass JAMB

E. With the free workshops in the library you will be trained on skill acquisition and you will not need to look for jobss when you must have been trained to create your own job

All these items above from A to E are provided by the Government of Sweden for their youths, GET IT RIGHT, they were provided by Politicians in Sweden for their youths

But you, a Nigerian youth, you that insult your friends online because of APGA, PDP or APC, you that steal ballot boxes, you got nothing from your own leaders and you are not talking

Its a pity

You should really be scared!!!!!

You have seen your future and wellbeing being wasted everyday and yet you are not talking
