My covenant with DNA as we go for ADC Primary

My dear brothers and sisters, respected traditional rulers, party leaders, youth leaders, women leaders, and all distinguished stakeholders of Anaocha, Njikoka, and Dunukofia Federal Constituency,

I stand before you today not as a stranger, but as a son of the soil. My name is Ikeagwuonwu Chinedu, popularly known as Pharm Klinsmann. I am a proud alumnus of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Class of 2005, where I studied Pharmacy. I went on to earn advanced degrees in Global Health and Infectious Disease Control from Umeå University and Södertörn University in Sweden, where I now live and work. But my heart has never left home.

I am also the author of 37 Laws of Political Power, The Billionaire Guide to Artificial Intelligence, and Igbo Landing, Books written not for applause, but to equip our people with the tools to rise.

I am here under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), not to make promises that will fade like morning mist, but to ask for your mandate to represent you in the Green Chamber as your Member of the House of Representatives.

Let me be honest from the beginning. There are other qualified aspirants in this race. They are good men and women. I respect them. Especially my brothers from Dunukofia
But today, I stand before you with one simple truth: our constituency does not just need another representative; we need the right representative.

We need someone who will not spend the first two years learning the ropes while our people continue to suffer. In Sweden, we have a saying: Du kan inte ge det du inte har. Nej, det är omöjligt.
Meaning that you cannot give what you do not have, because it is impossible.

Our people have waited long enough. We need a representative who will hit the ground running from day one, someone with the training, the exposure, the network, and the fire to deliver immediately.

The primary duty of a legislator is not to share contracts or distribute rice during election season. The main job is to make laws, to move motions, to appropriate funds, and to defend the interests of our constituency with both feet planted firmly on the floor of the Green Chamber. We need someone who can stand toe-to-toe with anybody, whether from the North, the West, or the South and say, “This is what Anaocha, Njikoka, and Dunukofia want, and this is what the South East deserves.” Anything less is a disservice to this constituency.

That is why it is dangerous to choose representation based on emotions alone. In 2023, many allowed emotions to guide them into supporting certain candidates, and today, three years later, many are regretting it in silence. We cannot afford to repeat that costly mistake. Our constituency must not be used as a laboratory for experiments. We must nominate our best, those with proven capacity for service delivery, those who understand policy, those who have the intellectual depth and the political courage to fight for what is right.

Look at the bigger picture. Should Mr. Peter Obi win the presidency in the next election, as many of us pray and work towards, who will defend his policies in the National Assembly? Who will ensure that the vision of a new Nigeria, where competence trumps connection, does not die in the Green Chamber?
We cannot send a lame duck who will be sleeping through plenary sessions while things go south. We need a fighter. We need someone who already understands the policy direction and is ready to protect it.

Let me speak to you from the heart about my own record. I have a proven record as a former national student leader of this country. Even from Sweden, even without holding any political office, I have been very outspoken on issues affecting the South East. I was instrumental in the advocacy that helped push the South East Development Commission (SEDC) forward. I have called, time and again, for the unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, not because I agree with his methods, but because his continued detention is a threat to peace and security in our region. I was among the very few voices that rose immediately, issued a press release on Vanguard newspaper, and condemned the attempted assassination of Mr. Peter Obi in Benin a few weeks ago. I did all these things without any official platform.

Imagine, my brothers and sisters, what I will be able to do when I have the full weight of the Green Chamber behind me. Imagine the laws we will pass. Imagine the motions we will move. Imagine the projects we will attract. Imagine the empowerment programmes that will finally reach our youths, our women, our farmers, and our traders.

I am not here to tell you fairy tales. I am here to tell you that you can bank on me. I am not a politician who disappears after elections. I am a son who has built a life on competence, integrity, and service. With your support, I will bring the real dividends of democracy home, quality legislation that protects our interests, infrastructure that works, opportunities that empower, and a voice that cannot be silenced or stampeded when the South East is under threat.

Distinguished stakeholders, the choice before us today is clear. We can choose the familiar path of emotion and regret, or we can choose the path of competence, courage, and results.
I am asking you, with all humility and with all the fire in my bones, to choose results.

I am asking you to choose Pharm Klinsmann as your candidate under the ADC.

Together, we will write a new chapter for Anaocha, Njikoka, and Dunukofia.
A chapter where our children no longer have to leave home to survive.
A chapter where our constituency becomes a model of development in the South East.
A chapter where our voice in Abuja is not just heard, but respected.

I am ready to serve. I am ready to fight and I am ready to deliver.
With your blessing, with your prayers, and with your support, let us begin this journey today.

Thank you. God bless you.
God bless Anaocha, Njikoka, and Dunukofia.
God bless the South East.
And God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Aluta Continua, Victoria Acerta

Your son
Pharm Ikeagwuonwu Chinedu Klinsmann
Ohamadike – Dunukofia
